Family Fall Vacation: Part 2

Here’s the rest of the vacation…

Day 4

Took a drive to Taylors Falls & stopped at Arcola House (an old restored mill owners house), we also stopped at Franconia Sculpture Garden (weird).  Explored Interstate State Park (we loved it!  I want to go back!), watched some rock climbers for a while, the boys climbed everything.  We also stopped at William O’Brien State Park & went on a quick hike.  We neglected to use the potty before the hike so the hike wasn’t all that enjoyable!  We saw a float-plane land & take off in the river right next to us.  So cool!

Day 5

Swam in the morning, then drove to the Mall of America.  Did some mini-golfing, stopped at the Lego store, had lunch, saw Santa walking around the Mall (then saw about 20 more…), then drove home.  Didn’t take many pictures this day because I was super sick with a really bad cold & I just wanted to go home!

Of course the boys loved the pool the best.

I am so lucky to have such a great family to make memories with!  🙂
